  8. Many DESQview users inquire about our DESQview Companions
  9. products after seeing them listed on their main DESQview Add a
  10. Program list of applications.  Each of these 4 products are 
  11. contained on the same diskette for a sinqle low price.  They were 
  12. written by our development team...the same persons that write 
  13. DESQview itself.  Each one balances maximum utility with low 
  14. program memory size for maximum DESQview compatibility.

  16. DESQview Datebook
  17.     The Datebook Companion gives the user a pop-up calendar 
  18. program which shows a month-at-a-glance, year-at-a-glance, week-
  19. at-a-glance, or day-at-a-glance.  Many of us here in the lab. 
  20. keep ours zoomed down to just a tiny rectangular window showing 
  21. the date and time, but ready to zoom up at an instant.  The Datebook
  22. permits calendar entries and alarms to be set far into the 
  23. future.  Multiple datebook files can be set up for various purposes.

  25. DESQview Calculator
  26.     The DESQview Calculator pops up for instant calculations.  
  27. It does all one might expect of an ordinary desktop calculator: 
  28. arithmetic, exponents, square roots, etc.  It has a memory 
  29. function and, one of its most useful feature, an on-screen "tape" 
  30. to track the steps in a calculation.  An accountant I know keeps
  31. several DESQview Calculator windows open at all times.

  33. DESQview Notepad
  34.     The DESQview Notepad is really a combination of a 
  35. miniature word processor and information retrieval system.  That 
  36. is because the authors wanted the ability to write notes and
  37. then sort for keywords.  The Notepad is perfect for 
  38. customization.  Lots of folks have made their own "DESQview 
  39. RolaDESQ" to keep track of names, addresses, and phone numbers to 
  40. dial with their DESQview autodialer.  Notepad has a built-in
  41. DESQview Learn Script conversion perfect for writing and editting 
  42. your macros!

  45.     As moderator of our BIX (Byte Information eXchange) 
  46. DESQview Conference, I'd be lost without my DESQview Link 
  47. telecommunications Companion program.  It knows how to dial up, 
  48. log in and remember all my access codes and passwords.  It is 
  49. perfect for uploads, downloads, and capturing messages.  Its host 
  50. sessions are perfect for sending files to friends that have a 
  51. modem.

  53. The Companions product is sold as a separate add-in for DESQview, 
  54. and also as part of the money-saving DESQview "bundle" with QEMM-
  55. 386.
